Aquatic Invasive Species Workshops

Aquatic Invasive Species Workshops seek to train technical field professionals in the resource/environmental field in invasive species identification, reporting, and how to decontaminate field equipment. The workshop curriculum and training resources were designed in partnership with Sir Sandford Fleming College and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources.

This half-day workshop focuses on aquatic invasive species identification, and demonstrating the preservation of specimens and reporting procedures. Workshops have been delivered across Ontario.
